This site was developed as part of the HSENI 'Watch Out. Carbon Monoxide Kills' campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the risk of Carbon Monoxide poisoning amongst the Northern Ireland population.

Incidents of Carbon Monoxide poisoning could be prevented if everyone had fuel burning appliances serviced annually and fitted an audible Carbon Monoxide alarm in their home.

    Wood is burnt as logs & branches and in many processed forms such as sawdust, chips and pellets.

    Gas can be either Natural Gas (NG) or Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG: propane or butane).
